Terms of Service
Last updated: November 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you, the business that signs up ("you"), and Thamer Al-Nuaimi, an individual software developer based in Irbid, Jordan ("we", "us"), who provides the Adam AI receptionist software ("Adam" or "the service"). By creating an account or using Adam, you agree to these terms. If a company is formed to run Adam, we'll tell you by email before it takes over this agreement.
1. What Adam does
Adam is software: an AI voice agent that answers incoming phone calls for your business, answers questions using the information you give us, takes down what callers need, connects urgent calls to the number you choose, and sends you a summary of each call. Your subscription includes setting up the agent for your business and a phone number that routes calls to it.
2. Adam is not an emergency service
Adam cannot contact 911 or any emergency service. When a caller describes an emergency, Adam tells them to call 911. You must not advertise or rely on Adam as a way for anyone to reach emergency help.
3. AI disclosure and call recording
- Every call starts with Adam saying it is an AI assistant and that the call is recorded and transcribed. This notice is built into the software and can't be removed or reworded.
- You are responsible for any additional notice or consent that the laws where you operate require, and for how you use recordings, transcripts and summaries once you receive them.
- We keep a record that the notice was given on each call (the call ID, time and a fingerprint of the greeting, without call content) for five years.
4. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your business and keep it up to date. Adam answers callers based on what you provide.
- Use Adam only for incoming calls to your own business, for its own operations. You are the party responsible for your callers' information under privacy laws (the "controller"); we process it on your behalf to provide the service.
- Follow the laws that apply to your business and your calls, including consumer protection, privacy and call-recording laws in your state.
- Do not use Adam for sales calls or telemarketing, to collect payment card or government ID numbers, or to collect health information protected by HIPAA.
- Do not use Adam for anything illegal, deceptive or harmful, or in ways that break the usage policies of the technology providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
5. Our technology providers
Adam runs on third-party services for voice, speech recognition, language models, phone numbers, email and hosting. They process call data on our behalf only to deliver the service. You agree that they may do so. Our providers are third-party beneficiaries of the use restrictions in section 4, and neither you nor we are their agents or partners. The current list is in our Privacy Policy.
6. Phone numbers
A phone number we provide is part of your subscription while it is active and may not be transferable when you leave. If you forward your existing number to Adam, you keep that number.
7. Fees, minutes and billing
- Plans are billed monthly in advance at the price shown when you subscribe. Payments are processed by our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle, which appears on your statement.
- Each plan includes a number of call minutes per month. Minutes beyond that are billed at $0.20 per minute at the end of the month. We email you at 80% and 100% of your included minutes.
- You can cancel anytime from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. Our Refund Policy explains when we refund.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Founding-offer prices stay fixed for the period stated when you signed up.
8. Availability
We work to keep Adam answering around the clock, and calls go to the backup number you choose if Adam can't answer. The service still depends on third-party networks and may sometimes be unavailable or make mistakes, such as mishearing a caller. Review your call tickets and keep another way for customers to reach you.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. Adam does not give medical, legal or financial advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or lost business, including from missed, misunderstood or unanswered calls. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms, the information you provide, or how you use the service and call data.
12. Suspension and ending the service
We may pause the service if payment fails, if you break these terms, or if a provider requires it, and we'll tell you why when we can. After cancellation we delete your call data as described in the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
If we make a significant change, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies. Continuing to use Adam after that means you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your location requires otherwise. This section will be updated if a US company takes over the agreement.
